Joys of cycling (2)

The festive season is well and truly over: the tradies are back on the roads, the pelotons are out in force and the runners’ numbers have swelled with the well-intentioned New Year resolution keepers.

This morning I cycled around the Toowong reach (very warm) and saw this ‘No standing’ sign on my way (that’s our permanent ferris wheel – or ‘eye’ – and arts precinct in the background).
No standing

I can report that I witnessed:
Joggers with excessive volume in their poor ears: 5
Cyclists with helmet not fastened: 1
Cyclists who overtook me: squillions
Cute kids in pink helping Dad cycle up the hills: 1
